Full factorial and fractional factorial designs, which have been widely used in agricultural field experiments, biomedical trials and industrial process improvements, are useful tools for exploring the relationship between the response and experimental factors of interest. The objective of this course is to introduce systematic methods and practical techniques for planning and analyzing multifactorial experiments. Analysis procedures will be demonstrated using R and sample codes will be provided to accompany lectures. After successfully completing this course, students will be able to design multifactorial experiments to address real-world research issues.
